(Administration)

(1) Amount of the Corpus of this trust shall be invested at a safe place along with such conditions as may deem proper by the trustees in the name of two trustees by majority of votes; but out of trustees if 2/3 majority of the trustees deciding to invest in the name of other trustees than they shall be invested in names of such trustees. The Trustees are prohibited from investing or depositing the funds at a place where there is personal interest of any trustee. The Ahmedabad Industrial Mills Co. Limited should be considered as an exception.

(2) Donations are acceptable for maintenance of hospital and maternity home without any conditions attached to them.

(3) Plaque displaying the names of donors donating Rs.1000/- or more may be placed at a proper site in the hospital.

(Heriditary Trustees)

(1) If any post of heriditary trustees falls vacant, than within three months, the concerned family shall appoint a suitable adult male member and notify the same to the Secretary to the Trust. In case of failure to do so the remaining heriditary trustees may appoint a suitable person from the families mentioned in column No.17.

(2) If the Male member of that family is a minor or mentally incapable, or declared unsuitable by ¾ majority of the remaining trustees or is “insolvent” the vacant post will be filled in by the remaining heriditary trustees by appointing a suitable person from their near paternal families within six months from the date of the post falling vacant for the period till said disability is removed.

At Present remaining five deserving gentlemen are appointed by selection in this trust and any trustee out of those five trustees does not remain present in the meetings of administration of this trust for the period of two years, he shall cease to be trustee of this trust and a new trustee shall be appointed in his place as per rules of this trust; if any body tenders resignation out of said five trustees or any post falls vacant, remaining trustees shall appoint any deserving gentleman within three months from the date of the place falling vacant (17) Following gentlemen (remaining five ) trustees are appointed as mentioned above in section (24). Laherchandbhai Nagindas (Rules for the Appointment of the President and Secretary ) (18) All Trustees to appoint “President” Out of heriditary trustees for five years, The President shall be entitled for election again at the end of his term. He shall preside over every meeting of the trust and shall have a right of ‘casting vote’. In the absence of the President during any meeting, the present trustees shall appoint one of the heriditary trustee as President for the meeting. In the absence of a heriditary trustee, any trustee can be appointed “ President ” for the said meeting. (19) The trustees shall appoint secretary or secretaries from amongst themselves or outside. If the Secretary is not a trustee then he shall have no right to vote in the meeting.
